A three-alarm fire tied up some subway service Tuesday morning and could cause delays on the Long Island Rail Road during rush hour. There’s no official cause, though NBC New York said fire officials called it “suspicious.”
Around 100 firefighters responded to a three-alarm fire early Tuesday morning, according to FDNY.
The fire started at around 2:30 a.m. ET at a construction site situated near to the station at West 33rd Street and 8th Avenue, Manhattan.
There did not appear to be any significant injuries, NBC New York said.
