Jason Dalton was a driver for the company in February when he allegedly went on a shooting spree in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The shooting left half a dozen people dead and earned Dalton six murder charges.

In the lawsuit filed in Michigan on Tuesday, Dalton claims he "busted my butt" for the company but that "my life is ruined because of Uber."

"My wife is divorcing me because of Uber," Dalton claims in the lawsuit, which is handwritten and a page and a half long.

In the weeks following his arrest, Dalton also claimed to be a "puppet" of the ride hailing app and said he saw a "devil" figure and other images on his phone screen.

Uber did not immediately respond to a BuzzFeed News request for comment.
