Officer Facing Murder Charge For Shooting Black Teen Who Was Leaving Party

The now-fired officer who fatally shot 15-year-old Jordan Edwards last week is reportedly facing a murder charge.

Police issued an arrest warrant for murder for former Balch Springs police officer Roy Oliver on Friday. Oliver shot Edwards on April 29 as he was leaving a house party in Balch Springs, Texas.

Oliver was fired from the Balch Spring Police Department earlier this week.
