- The Republican candidates for president are debating on ABC before Tuesday's primary in New Hampshire.
- The contest comes after Texas Sen. Ted Cruz swept to victory in the first election of the season, the Iowa caucuses, on Monday.
- Businessman Donald Trump came in second place in Iowa — but the big story that evening was Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, who came in a strong third and nearly overcame Trump. Several lower-performing candidates dropped out of the race after Iowa.
- New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, neurosurgeon Ben Carson, and Ohio Gov. John Kasich will also take the stage. Former HP CEO Carly Fiorina wasn't invited.
- Look for several of the candidates to attack Rubio.
- Also notable is Trumps return to the stage — he skipped the debate before Iowa because of a conflict with host Fox News.
- The UMass/7News poll focused on New Hampshire released Saturday has Trump at 35%, Rubio at 14%, Cruz at 13%, Kasich at 10%, Bush at 10%, Christie at 4%, Fiorina at 3%, and Carson at 3%.
