Mayor Bill de Blasio was jeered before delivering a speech to NYPD graduates. Some officers have been turning their back on him after two officers were killed.

New NYPD officers booed Mayor Bill de Blasio before he delivered a speech at their graduation ceremony Monday.
The jeers could be heard on a live stream at the event and were noted by reporters who were present.
Boos were also audible when de Blasio told the new officers, "you didn't create the problems you'll face."
The crowd also cheered the mayor at certain points and when he finished his address.
"You will have real time information so you can stay safe and keep the community safe. Whatever this department knows will be in your hands instantaneously," he said.
There's great tension between the mayor and the NYPD since two officers were killed while sitting in their patrol car. Some officers turned their backs on the mayor when he arrived at the hospital where the officers were being treated and when he delivered a eulogy at one of their funerals.
