Fort Lauderdale police said four children were injured, one critically, by the incident. One person caught the whole thing on video.
Fort Lauderdale Beach visitors encountered an uncanny yet dangerous situation this afternoon when a waterspout blew onto shore and sent a bounce house careening into the air, injuring several children.
The bounce house, in the center of the frame, later landed on a basketball court, according to a report by local ABC affiliate Local10.com.
A total of three children were injured, according to Fort Lauderdale police. Two suffered minor injuries, and one will stay at a local hospital overnight for observation.
Police officials did not release the children's names.
