Muhammad Ali, the famed heavyweight champion boxer and international icon who died on June 3, will be honored with a procession, private funeral, and massive memorial service in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.

Friday’s events follow a Muslim prayer service that was held Thursday at Louisville’s Freedom Hall, where an estimated 14,000 people listened to an imam read the Jenazah, an Islamic funeral prayer, and recitations of the Qur’an.

The service Friday will began with a motorcade through Louisville at 9:30 a.m., which will last about 90 minutes, according to Bob Gunnell, the spokesperson for the Ali family. The procession will be comprised of 17 cars, one of which will be a hearse carrying Ali’s body, the Courier-Journal reported.

The tour will make one stop at the Ali Center, and finish with a funeral service at Cave Hill Cemetery, which will be closed to the public.

At 11:30 a.m., doors to the KFC Yum! Center will open. The memorial service is expected to begin at 2 p.m. following the funeral, and will last around two hours.

Tickets to the memorial service were free and distributed on Wednesday morning. ESPN reported that hundreds of fans were lined up as early as 6 a.m. to receive one of the 15,000 tickets available. They were gone in an hour.

Despite the free entry, some people have been caught selling their tickets on Craigslist and other platforms, according to the Courier-Journal.

Thousands have already begun to flock to the streets to see the procession, including BuzzFeed's own Tracy Clayton.
