A 17-year-old boy is due in court over the incident.
A pregnant woman lost her unborn baby after she was robbed at a bus stop in Salford.
Greater Manchester police said this morning the incident occurred when the woman was sat at a bus stop on Cronwell Road at around 5:45pm on Saturday.
A statement said the woman was approached and attacked by three teenagers who stole her handbag.
"As a result of the attack the woman has lost her baby," police said.
He is due to appear at Manchester and Salford magistrates' court today.
The BBC said it was understood the woman, 43, had been around six weeks pregnant.
