At least 26 people were killed in a blast at a nightclub in Bucharest, Romania, on Friday, with more than 150 others injured, the Deputy Interior Minister announced.
The explosion occurred at the Romanian capital where a rock concert was taking place, Deputy Interior Minister Raed Arafat told Reuters.
About 400 people were expected to attend the show at Colectiv.
Details of the explosion were still being reported by local media, but some local outlets reported fireworks were to be used in the show.
At least 150 people were reportedly injured in the blast, and there were reports some were injured as attendees tried to run out of the venue.
Local outlets reported some nearby hospitals were running out of room and using lounges and hallways to hold the injured.

Romanian President Klaus Lohannis posted a message on Facebook shortly after the incident was reported, expressing condolences for the families of the victims.
"It is a very sad day for all of us, for our nation and for myself," Lohannis wrote. "I would like you all to stand by the distraught families and to show solidarity and sympathy."
