Dr. Oz said he will not ask Donald Trump "any questions he doesn't want to have answered" when the Republican presidential nominee releases the results of his physical exam during a taping of "The Dr. Oz Show."
Trump said that he will be releasing “very, very specific numbers” from a physical exam he had last week during Wednesday's taping of Mehmet Oz's show. The episode will air Thursday.
In an interview with Fox News Radio's "Kilmeade & Friends," Oz, who did not examine Trump, said he will ask Trump about his "personal health regimen" and analyze the numbers from his physical live.
"It's his personal records. I want to ask him pointed questions about his health," Oz said during Tuesday's radio interview.
"The metaphor for me is it's the doctor's office, the studio," Oz said. "So I'm not going to ask him questions he doesn't want to have answered, and I also don't want to talk about anybody else. We're not going to be talking about Secretary Clinton, for sure. And I don't want to talk about things that are outside the health purview."
Oz went on to say that he plan on asking Trump about his health care policies.
"But I do not believe that we can have a wealthy country without being a healthy country," Oz said. "And so I do think people want to understand, what happens to my health care if Mr. Trump is elected, and more importantly, what kind of role model he is for health in our country."
