Steve Grant is not a WDBJ7 employee, but one of a number of staff brought in from Springfield, Missouri's KY3 to assist the Virginia station with their broadcasts in the wake of attack, according to the Springfield News-Leader. Another Springfield station, KSPR, also sent staff to Roanoke.
