Dash cam records officer becoming a potential spray target after aiding a baby skunk.
At around 8:20 a.m., Rochester Police Officer Merlin Taylor responded to a call regarding an animal in distress, only to find a baby skunk with its head stuck in the plastic container.
In footage recorded by Taylor's dash cam, the baby skunk can be seen running in circles on the street with the yogurt container stuck on its head. Taylor pulls up to the distressed skunk, puts on some gloves, and cautiously approaches.
He then waits for the right moment to pull the cup off the skunk's head.
