A 40-year-old man was sentenced to two and a half years in jail for having sex on the beach in front of minors. His 21-year-old partner was sentenced to time served.

A Florida man was sentenced Monday to two and a half years in prison for having sex on a beach in front of other beachgoers, including children.
Jose Caballero, 40, and Elissa Alvarez, 21, were convicted in May to two counts of "lewd and lascivious exhibition" for having sex on the beach in front of minors, after the jury was shown cellphone footage of the couple's act.
Alvarez was recently sentenced to time served, but Caballero received a harsher sentence because he previously served eight years for cocaine trafficking. The charges carried a maximum 15 years in prison. They both will have to register as sex offenders.
The pair denied having sex, arguing Alvarez had been "dancing" on top of Caballero.
