Multiple People Reportedly Killed In Kansas Shootings

Witnesses told local media that a man opened fire at multiple locations, including at a turf company in Hesston, Kansas. At least two people were reportedly killed.

One man who identified himself as Dylan told KSN-TV that he was unloading pallets when he heard gunfire and saw Excel Industries employees running out of the building. One man was shot twice in the chest, once in the arm, and in the leg, he said.

The male shooter was reportedly down, according to local media.

Local media reported that at least two people may have been killed in the shooting, which occurred shortly before 5 p.m. At least three others were also reportedly injured, although their conditions were not immediately known.

Sheriff's officials planned to hold a news conference later in the evening.

Another witness said she saw the gunman get out of his truck at another location and open fire on a passenger in a Chrysler car before running into the building.

That car then drove off into a ditch, where bystander rushed to render aid, she said.
