  • The remaining Republican candidates for president will debate tonight, after Donald Trump racked up his third straight primary election win on Tuesday. It starts at 8:30 p.m. ET and CNN is hosting.
  • The contest comes just before Super Tuesday, when 14 states will hold GOP primaries or caucuses. The results there will likely narrow the field even further.
  • The two big dynamics at play will be Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz trying to thwart Trump's momentum — and for the the second- and third- place contenders to attack each other.
  • Rubio is largely trying to claim the mainstream conservative mantle against Trump. Cruz argues he can defeat Trump by running to the right of him on issues, and also points out he is the only person who has proven he can beat the businessman with his win at the Iowa caucuses.
  • Ben Carson and John Kasich will also debate.
  • BuzzFeed News will update this post live during the debate and will have a wrap-up once it's over.
