Mixed martial arts fighter Kimbo Slice has died. He was 42.
Sgt. Carla Kmiotek, of the Coral Springs, Florida, police told BuzzFeed News that Slice had been hospitalized Monday, but that the case was not under investigation.
Bellator CEO Scott Coker confirmed in a statement to BuzzFeed News that Slice, whose real name was Kevin Ferguson, died Monday.
American Top Team — the gym where Slice trained — also announced his death on Twitter.
