The former co-host of "Fox & Friends" claims she was fired from Fox News in June as retaliation for rejecting Ailes' advances.

Carlson claims Ailes commented on her outfits and made remarks about her legs and called her “sexy.”

Ailes allegedly once told Carlson that she was the one person he would want to be stranded with on a desert island.

Ailes allegedly told Carlson that problems she faced “would not have existed, and could be solved, if she had a sexual relationship with him,” according to the complaint.

"When Carlson met with Ailes to discuss the discriminatory treatment to which she was being subjected, Ailes stated: 'I think you and I should have had a sexual relationship a long time ago and then you'd be good and better and I'd be good and better,' adding that 'sometimes problems are easier to solve' that way," according to the complaint. "Carlson rebuffed Ailes' sexual demands at that meeting, and nine months later, Ailes ended her career at Fox News."

According to the complaint, Ailes retaliated against Carlson and damaged her career by assigning her fewer hard-hitting political stories.

Carlson, who was a co-host on "Fox & Friends" is only suing Ailes, not the network.

Carlson confirmed on her Facebook page that she is no longer with Fox News.

"I have strived to empower women and girls throughout my entire career, Carlson said in a statement obtained by Politico. "Although this was a difficult step to take, I had to stand up or myself and speak out for all women and the next generation of women in the workplace. I am extremely proud of my accomplishments at Fox News and for keeping our loyal viewers engaged and informed on events and news topics of the day."

Requests for comment from Fox News and Carlson's lawyers were not immediately returned.
