  • Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders will face off in the first head-to-head debate of the campaign season after Martin O'Malley dropped out of the race during Monday's Iowa caucuses.
  • Clinton was the winner at Monday's caucus, the first electoral contest of the year, but Sanders kept it neck-and-neck. Clinton won by a slim .3% and claimed slightly more delegates.
  • The debate will be broadcast and live streamed on MSNBC and BuzzFeed News will update this post throughout. It begins at 9 p.m. ET.
  • The debate takes place less than a week from Tuesday's primary in New Hampshire, where Sanders has a heft lead on Clinton in several polls.
  • A UMass/7News poll out Wednesday shows Sanders with 61% and Clinton with 32% of respondents.
  • Both candidates have been furiously campaigning in New Hampshire — and things are getting chippy.
