A man using suction cups scaled Trump Tower in midtown Manhattan on Wednesday, prompting a large police response.

The man could be seen climbing the building at the corner of 5th Avenue and 57th Street without safety ropes around 4 p.m. ET.

An NYPD spokesperson told BuzzFeed News multiple police officers were at the tower, attempting to engage the unidentified man.

"It's still an active investigation but we're trying our best to reach him," the spokesperson said.
