Kanye West was reportedly hospitalized Monday after police said officers were called in to check on his well-being.
A Los Angles Police spokesman told BuzzFeed News that one person was hospitalized Monday after officers responded to a "disturbance call that became a medical emergency call."
Police would not confirm that the person transported was West, which was first reported Monday by NBC News.
The disturbance call came in at 1:20 p.m., police said.
An unnamed source told NBC that the decision to hospitalize the rapper was done out of concern for his safety and health.
On Saturday, West cut short a concert in Sacramento, California, then abruptly canceled the remaining dates in his Saint Pablo tour.
