Born on June 16, 2014, this little red panda is being hand reared at the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute and is thriving, according to the Smithsonian National Zoo.
The mother Regan gave birth to two cubs June 16, 2014. One cub was stillborn, but this little guy made it.
Although he was in critical condition at first, so the zoo keepers took every precaution to ensure his survival.
He has been hand-fed and receives 24-hour care.
