Using the hashtag #WeStandWithWDBJ, journalists on Wednesday posted tributes and photos in solidarity with the Virginia television station after two of its journalists were killed on air.
A shooter opened fired on the WDBJ news duo Wednesday morning while they were conducting an interview in the town of Moneta, Virginia.
Vicki Gardner, who was being interviewed by the news team, was listed in stable condition after also being shot on air.
Authorities identified the shooter as former WDBJ reporter Vester Lee Flanagan, and said he committed suicide after the deadly attack.
