The attack happened in the town of Sunset, about 150 miles from New Orleans.
A police officer was reportedly shot and two others were injured Wednesday at a convenience store in Louisiana.
The shooting happened in the town of Sunset at around 4:45 p.m., the Associated Press reported.
It was unclear if the two others injured in the attack were shot or stabbed.
An image geotagged to the site of the shooting showed a car that had apparently driven through the front of the store. In the image, a man can be seen lying on the ground.
An ambulance company in the area also tweeted that it was responding to the scene.
