Gunman Dead After Shooting Two Cops At Minnesota City Hall

The councilman, John Elder, is a member of the Minneapolis Police Department, according to KARE.

The gunman was shot and killed after he opened fire on a group of police officers leaving the city hall after a swearing-in ceremony, the Hennepin County Sheriff's Department told KARE.


Two officers were injured by the gunfire but are in good condition and are expected to recover, officials said.
