Thousands of flights scheduled for Monday and Tuesday have been cancelled ahead of a potentially historic blizzard bearing down on the Northeast U.S..
Almost 2,500 flights have been cancelled on Monday and over 3,000 on Tuesday, according to FlightAware.com.
