President Obama said on Thursday that two American citizens who were members of al-Qaeda were killed recently in two separate drone strikes.
Obama announced the killings in a same press conference where he also revealed that two hostages, Dr. Warren Weinstein, an American, and Giovanni Lo Porto, an Italian, were killed accidentally. The operation reportedly involved a CIA drone strike.
