Teen Pilot Dies In Plane Crash On Round-The-World Charity Flight

17-year-old Haris Suleman is dead after his single engine plane went down around Pago Pago, American Samoa, on Tuesday night. His father, who was accompanying his son on the trip, is still missing.

A family spokeswoman confirmed to the Associated Press that the teenage pilot's body has been recovered. Crews are still looking for his father, the only other passenger on the plane.


Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor said the single-engine plane crashed into the ocean Tuesday night under unknown circumstances.
