A statement by Hong Kong police said officers had arrested a 29-year-old man in connection with the murder of two women.
The victims have not been officially named by police, but the China Morning Post has named the woman found on the balcony as Sumarti Ningsih, a 25-year-old Indonesian woman. Both women are reported to have been sex workers.
The pair are believed to have been killed days apart. The Post also quoted a police source as claiming a small amount of cocaine was also found in the apartment.
