In Utah, cities can no longer ban specific breeds of dogs.
In 2014, at least 10 cities in the state banned owning breeds such as pit bulls, the Associated Press reported.
"Yes Means Yes" consent law goes into effect at California colleges.
The law requires "an affirmative, conscious and voluntary agreement to engage in sexual activity." Any university receiving financial aid must adopt it.
