DEVELOPING: Authorities confirmed a shooting took place Friday night at Louis Armstrong International Airport. Witnesses reported seeing a man with a machete.
A traveler who was at the airport at the time said travelers were streaming out of the airport after the incident.
"I just got my bag and all of a sudden a bunch of people started running out of the airport," said Mya LaGrange.
