Lynne Schulze, 18, went missing in 1971 from Middlebury, Vermont. Durst owned a heath food store there at the time.
The Middlebury, Vermont police released a statement Monday evening saying they "have been aware" of Robert Durst's connection to the disappearance of 18-year-old Lynne Schulze there for "several years."
