Here Are 8 More Disturbing Photoshopped Ads Urging CoverGirl To Stop Sponsoring The NFL

Each picture in the project represents a team that employs players with a domestic violence record.

After meeting on Twitter, creators Adele Stan, an editor at The American Prospect in Washington, D.C., who first came up with the idea, and Leslie MacFadyen, an account executive in Philadelphia who reworked the Photoshop, decided to team up to create more of the powerful images, representing each team who has players with a domestic violence-related arrest.

The duo's goal is to get NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to resign with pressure from CoverGirl, the NFL's "official beauty sponsor," who has so far refused to drop their sponsorship.

"If we really want to end domestic, partner and family violence, we have to change the culture," Stan told BuzzFeed News. "The NFL matters because it is a huge cultural institution whose players are heroes to little boys."
