Campus police issued a crime alert about a report of sexual assault at a North Carolina State University fraternity house.
The victim, reportedly a female student, said she was assaulted at a party hosted by Alpha Tau Omega on Varsity Drive in Raleigh around 2 a.m. on Sunday.
Additional details were not provided.
On the North Carolina State University Greek Life website, an asterisk next to the Alpha Tau Omega name indicates the chapter was found responsible by the Office of Student Conduct for violating one or more elements of the Code of Student Conduct and is currently under disciplinary sanctions. It is unclear for which incident the fraternity is being punished.
University officials and members of Alpha Tau Omega did not immediate respond to requests for comment.
